Driving back to minneapolis from kc I stopped here for qhat I hoped to be a quick bathroom and food break. There were no more than 5 cars in front of me and I was in line for 20 minutes at 2pm on a sunday definetly not fast food. I used the facilities and the reatroom was dirty toloet paper on the floor and the floor was sticky. But I really really wanted a frosty fries and nuggets so I patiently waited. But I will not stop here ever again. At least my fries were hot!

What is the big appeal of this Wendys that made for the to-the-door line yesterday? We were stunned that so many people were crammed in waiting to order...until we realized that no one was even taking orders, and they appeared to be preparing one order at a time. They must have been giving preference to the drive-through, but there was a stack of cars piled up out there too. We stood in line long enough to let one member of the party use the restroom, then split. In that time we saw one person in line collect their food. Just ridiculous. We went down to the Sonic across the highway, which wasn't great, but by the time we were done eating there we might have just gotten up to the counter at Wendys. Seriously, if you're on the road and looking for an efficient meal, don't make this your stop!

The service is always slow. The food preparation is sub par. The last time I was there I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and the wrapper was soaked in grease. I know fast food isn't healthy, but I've never had the wrapper literally dripping with grease. Had I realized it before driving away, I would have handed it back to them. I took about 2 bites before giving up. I tried the fries and they were cold and soggy. I won't be stopping back. If you want a good Wendy's experience try the one at 100th and Urbandale Drive or the one at 63rd and Grand.

Seriously gross. The smell of the bathroom made me gag. It was absolutely disgusting. Food service was below average for even a fast food place. Luckily I live nowhere close to this place so I'll never have to return.

This is one of those "Yelp should have negative stars" reviews. So be forewarned. We stopped here on the way back from Minnasota... God, I wish I had listened to my gut & stopped at Arby's!! This place was AWFUL. We went in, & ordered our food. We had to repeat our order 4 times to the guy at the register! Sadly, there was not a language barrier- he just didn't get it. It being "no tomatoes, & no honey mustard on the # 5". So we go to sit down. Every table we looked at that was supposed to be clean had food stuck to it. So I got the baby wipes & scrubbed one booth clean. Then we went to get a highchair for my 16 month old. OH. MY. GOD. They were all DISGUSTING. 3 highchairs in the restaurant, all sticky with dirt & food, like they hadn't been cleaned in months. I scrubbed one with baby wipes. It took *EIGHT* baby wipes just to get the parts that would touch my kid clean- and they were black with dirt & food particles. I almost threw up. We got our food, which was prepared correctly (miracles do happen, I guess). But the fries were barely room temperature, and what was supposed to be a chicken breast barely covered half the bun. We then went to the manager with our complaints. We showed him the baby wipes from the high chair, and told him everything I have listed here so far. I think he only understood parts of what we said (language barrier), then tried to tell us that he had just come back from vacation (or something to that effect). Whatever, dude. We never saw anyone try to clean anything after we spoke to him the whole time we were eating, so I guess cleanliness is just not that important on his to-do list either. Before we left, my BFF & I both made the mistake of using the restrooms. They were filthy (shocking, I know), and there were flies everywhere. It smelled like a combination of bleach and butt. SO GROSS. I am forwarding this review to the Iowa Department of Public Health. If I recieve a reply, I will update.
